About Us
Dance Elite LC is a dance school that is owned by Courtnay. The school is based in Brotherton and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on the importance of child/youth development. We work with variety of children to improve team building exercises, focusing on communication skills; leadership skills, listening skills, self-esteem and building new friendships. Building confidence in children and supporting self-belief will build their abilities, skills and experiences. Dancing helps children to improve a general healthy lifestyle. Having the ability to self-manage their well-being before and after physical activity e.g. warming up and stretching their body to prevent injury.

Dance Elite LC offers a wide range of dance styles; street dance, hip hop, cheerleading, theatre dance, contemporary, cultural dances, gymnastics, dance fitness and many more. In addition, our dance teachers are DBS checked and first aid trained. We are highly trained in teaching dance from International Dance Teacher Association training, BA Honours Dance Practice Degree, Acrobatic Arts, NATD Contemporary, Building from the Ground up and Zumba Instructor qualifications. Dance Elite LC is very experienced when working with children and running both dance workshops in schools and extra-curricular group activities around the local areas.

"Dance constantly inspires me, knowing the concept of being able to create and perform artwork of my own or of someone else’s is a great feeling. I studied BA Hons Dance Practice at Liverpool John Moore’s University and received a 1st Class Bachelor Honours Degree. Proceeding to work as a freelance teacher and dancer, around the UK. Passionate about the dance industry, the various training from IDTA Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz to Contemporary and Street dance. To extend my training I trained at Runway House in London. I was previously a part of Koby Studio Leeds as a member of their Elite company team. I am qualified in teaching dance in Acrobatic Arts, NATD Contemporary, Building from the Ground up and Zumba Instructor.
I love to share ideas, communicate concepts and to inspire dance with those around me. Seeing students’ progress develop over time as a dancer and student is great to witness."
